Description

Carrot Cake, also known as Chai Tow Kway is a common dish or dim sum of Teochew cuisine. It comprises of radish rice cake, egg and sweet dark soya sauce, similar to our very own puréed version. They come in different IDDSI levels.

Preparation Step

Place frozen food directly onto plate and cover the items (cling wrap/cover) to prevent condensation during steaming. Consume within 30 min after steaming. 1. Cover the plate 2. Steam 30 min (Note: Place pureed carrot cake on a plate as shown in picture to maintain shape after steaming)
